Health and Safety
Coláiste Chamuis has a Health and Safety Policy which states that all students have the right to a safe, secure, healthy and stress-free environment on their course, and An Coláiste seeks proactively to achieve this. Teachers and administrative staff are always on duty and activities are organized for the seven days of the week. As part of the process of supervision, staff may check the safety and well-being of students in their rooms and during all activities, both day and night.
The authorities of Coláiste Chamuis, while taking precautions in supervising all activities of the students, accept no legal responsibility whatever for accidents or for willful acts of indiscipline on the part of students. Local medical services are available to our students should they be required at parents’ expense. In order that we be able to provide properly for each student’s welfare, a Health Form must be completed and signed by a parent in respect of each student attending a course. This form will be presented to any medical person who may treat a student.
